	Mission:

The High Bridge Public School District , in partnership with parents and the community, strives to assist all students at every grade level to meet or exceed the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS), and is dedicated to providing a strong educational foundation that inspires students to become life-long learners and responsible, productive citizens.

The mission statement was approved by the Board of Education after an intensive examination of the belief/value statements developed by the members of the Board of Educationï¿½s Strategic Planning Committee. The following belief statements proved acceptable to the entire committee:

Belief/Value Statements

Students: We believe that our students are diverse individuals with unique learning styles who are naturally motivated.

Parents: We believe that our parents are essential to a successful educational experience. They are an invaluable partner in establishing an environment that supports the total growth and development of their children.

Community: We believe that our High Bridge community has a commitment to its public schools and in turn, its public schools have a commitment to its community.

Administration: We believe that our administration facilitates positive change through dynamic leadership and shared decision-making.

Staff/Teachers: We believe that our staff and teachers demonstrate competency, involvement and commitment to excellence.

School Board: We believe that our school board sets the tone and direction to provide the best education for the children in our community.

School Facility: We believe that our facilities are a living, dynamic entity which reflects the values of the community, supports the education of our students and serves the needs of our community.

Curricula: We believe that our curriculum prepares all students to be life long learners and active participants in a global society.

Co-Curricula: We believe that our co-curricula expands and enriches the students educational experience.

Financial Resources: We believe that we are dedicated to providing the financial resources sufficient to support the educational mission of the school district.
